Gaso.Line Kit #50336
1:48 Scale
Review by Terry Ashley

This two figure sets has two infantry figures both wearing M1 Steel helmets and one with the second pattern mackinaws over his HBT uniform and armed with a M3 SMG while the second wears the wool overcoat and is armed with a BAR.

Cast in light grey resin the figures only have the usual casting blocks to be removed as well as a minor casting seam down one side with one figure having the full body in one piece with just the arms separate as well as the hands cast with the Grease gun for a natural sit of the weapon.
The second figure with overcoat has a separate head and boots as well as the arms with hands again cast with the BAR while both have personal equipment included in the body casting.

The uniform and facial features are very detailed for this scale and include well defined details such as belts, pockets and fabric folds with the overcoat especially well done.

Assembly was straightforward without any problems with the arms having large pins that fit into corresponding holes in the shoulders for a good fit and the hands had smaller locating pins that fit into the arms and the fit was good here also with just some minor gaps at the shoulders that can easily be filled with thick cyanoacrylate.

Another excellent figure set in this smaller scale that can be used in a diorama setting.

Highly recommended for 1:48 vehicle fans.
