The quality of the resin is very good with only the usual casting blocks to be removed before use which given the smaller parts is easily done.
The main parts in the set is the fully extended canvas roof cover which has
the internal tilt frames included and nice details on the rear window cut-out
and securing strips.
The surface texture/creases on the roof is a little overdone and looks too
much like tissue paper applied with white glue but can easily be toned down
with light sanding.
There is a new windscreen provided with a canvas cover which again has the tissue pulled too tightly exposing the screen details as well as the texture being overdone and you may want to recover this for a better effect.
Six balloon tyres are included which have nice hub details and include the strip of tread pattern seen on some of these tyres for good variety from the usual almost smooth balloon tyres.
Two spares are provided, one normal balloon tyre and one with canvas cover but again this looks too much like tissue and white glue as the cover is pulled too tightly over the wheel exposing the wheel details while photos show this as looser fitting hiding the wheels details.
Also included are a selection of personal gear and equipment which is nicely cast and cab be added to the model to give a lived in feel.
The new wheels simply replace the kit wheels utilising the kit inner rims (parts B3/B5) and the resin roof is a good fit to the rear kit body, there may be some minor trimming needed on the inside lip of the roof but my sample fitted well.
Conclusion:
Overall a nice update with nice wheels and accessories while the texture of
the roof can easily be dulled down with the parts adding a new feel to either
kit.
Recommended.
