Modeller Issue 18 continues the high quality with some impressive models with the contents as follows:
Red Tide Rising (Part One) by Adam N.P. Wilder, Carlos Elias and Abilio
Pineiro Grajera (pages 2-13)
Part 1 describing the construction of this large diorama with a disabled Panther
being overrun by a T-34-85 amongst a twisted industrial site. This section
deals with the Idea, preparation and construction with many photos of the base
and vehicles during construction as well as others of the finished diorama.
The T-34-85 used in the diorama was also featured in Issue
11.
Western Front Schlepper by Gary Edmundson (pages 14-21)
This article deals with the building of the Al.By resin 7.5cm PaK40/1 auf Geschutzenwagen
Lorraine Schlepper (f) Sdkfz 135 with photos and text describing the construction
as well as photos of the finished model.
Extreme Detail (pages 22-26)
This issue has superb close up photos of a museum Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf.D with interior
and exterior photos showing many details that will help when building either
the AFV Club, Dragon or Tamiya kits.
Finnish Klimi by Jari Lievonen (pages 27-35)
Combining the Eastern Express KV-1 kit with JS-Models resin turret
and Eduard etched set produces this model of the Finnish Klimi KV-1
Model 1942. There are photos of the model during and after construction with
text describing all
the action.
Israeli M51 Batch 4 Sherman by Richard Howden (pages 36-41)
This article shows the construction of an accurate Israeli M51 Sherman utilizing
many available detail and update sets with photos and text of the model during
construction as well as of the finished model decked out with a 3 man crew.
Armour in Iraq (pages 42-49)
Some interesting and useful reference pictures of vehicles in Iraq with the
JGSDF LAV and HMV Koukidousya as well as a mixture of vehicles from Norway,
Rumania, Holland and Italy that should be very useful for anyone wanting
model these vehicles.

The usual 6 page run down on new products for the modeller with brief descriptions
and photos of the products featured.
F13 by Jens Kronvold Frederiksen (pages 56-64)
This article describes the building of Tamiya's early Tiger I (kit 35216)
in the finish of Tiger F13 from Companie Fehrmann of Kampfgruppe Schulze
with text describing the building along with numerous photos of the finished
kit.
The issue continues the excellent trend of this magazine with more excellent modelling and reference material.
