The three main features in the magazine follow on from Ground Power #65
This issue covers
German Anti-Aircraft vehicles (wheeled and tracked) of WWII, as opposed
to the dedicated Flakpanzers in GP65.
Chapter 1 covers the early machine gun mounts fitted to various vehicles, followed
with coverage of the numerous wheeled vehicle mounts for the Flak 30 and 38,
most notably the Horch and Krupp Protze.
Chapter 2 looks at the half-track vehicles. The Sd.Kfz.10/4 & 10/5, Sd.Kfz.7/1,
Sd.Kfz 6/2, sWS 3.7cm and Sd.Kfz.7/2 are all covered in detail with excellent
photographs from all theatres of operation.
Following this
is part 2 of the "Jimmy Manual", namely the 2½ Ton 6x6 GMC Truck
CCKW 353/352.
Again there are many really good line drawings of various components of the
GMC.
Covered here are the various Cab and body (trays) used, the gun mounts and winches.
The drawings are exceptionally clear and show all the detail on these parts.
These are accompanied by many good wartime photos on the 'Jimmy'. A must for
any GMC fan.
The final section is Part 5 of the German Army Uniforms series. Many photos with line drawings of person equipment carried by the troops.
Highly recommended references.
