PMMS

book Ground Power Magazine #98 - 7/2002
Published by Delta Publishing Co.Ltd. Japan

This issues again comprises three main sections with a cameo at the start with 4 pages of side colour profile drawings of German SP Gun Vehicles.

The first section of 31 pages features German Vehicles at Kummersdorf. The are quite a few posed pictures of Stug IIIGs and Hetzers plus a number of other shots of various vehicles but all general distant type shots. There are some interesting shots of the MAUS including one destroyed vehicle, presumable to stop it falling into the wrong hands.

The next 70 pages is the first part on Soviet Multi-Turreted Tanks T-28 & T-35.
This issue covers the T-28 with many fine wartime photos of the vehicles in-action. There are also some good close-up detail shots as well as many line drawings which cover the interior hull and turret layout as well as almost every part of the hull and turret exterior. Many of the diagrams show the different turret designs as well as the many changes in the rear hull area and other changes during production, a real bonus for modellers.

The final 34 pages is part four of the series on soft skinned vehicles of the British Army, this time 3t 4x2 trucks and 3t 6x4 trucks are covered. There are also pages devoted to the CMP pattern vehicles as well as Anti-Tank Gun Portee vehicles.

Another excellent issue of this magazine.

Available via mail order from Rainbow Ten in Japan.
