US Tanker w/Tommy Gun

This set has another US Tanker to go along with sets #35009 and #35010 with this guy standing in a relaxed pose holding a Tommy gun (Thompson SMG).
The figure is cast in the usual light grey resin with just the usual casting blocks to be removed although there were some minor casting seams on the inside of the legs as a consequence of the full body casting but nothing difficult to deal with.
The body is cast as a single part with separate arms and the usual alternate heads with one wearing a tankers leather helmet and the other a field cap. The Thompson includes the right hand for a natural sit of the hand on the weapon and all you need is to add the sling to the gun from tape. Lead sheet or what every material you prefer.
The uniform detail is superb with well defined fabric seam, pocket and belt details and also has the pockets showing they have items inside which as usual adds life and character to the figure while the facial and hand features are also very well done.
Assembly posed no problems at all with a perfect fit of the gun/hand to the right sleeve (there is a small pin on the end of the arm to locate the hand that makes this even easier) and the fit of the left arm was also spot on with the cupped hand fitting perfectly under the forward stock of the Thompson. I also added wire pins to the necks to allow easy swapping of the heads, which is really a personal thing and no reflection of the head fit which is spot on.
Another superb US tanker that along with those already released with add life to any allied vehicle.
