The figure is cast in light grey resin with just the usual small casting blocks to be removed and some minor resin film due to the casting of the body in one piece but nothing out of the ordinary.
Consisting of just four parts the figure has the full body including all equipment and the right arm included in the casting with separate left arm, head and M16A2 with right hand included.
The detail on the body is superb with very well defined and detailed uniform and equipment such as vest, ammo pouches, water bottle, person weapon, gas mask haversack and back water bladder as well as knee pads all beautifully represented with only a bare minimum of resin flash in some areas with extensive undercuts.
The head has nice facial features that includes a pair of sunnies and wears a helmet with googles covered to cut down glare and also has the mounting bracket for the night vision equipment as well as the M16A2 being nicely represented.
The fit of the left arm to the right hand/gun is excellent with the left shoulder fit being perfect as was the right wrist fit and the gun sat perfectly in the left hand, you simply can’t get a better fit than this and the gun sits at a very natural angle seen in many photos of the US soldiers in Iraq.
A superb modern figure with the pose suited perfectly for someone posted on guard duty fully kitted out and will look very good on its own or included in a larger diorama.
