Russian Tank Crew
1/35th Figure Set No. FST041
Another recent release from
Firestorm is of a Russian Tank crew in relaxed pose wearing winter uniforms.
This resin kit has two 3/4 Russian figures although one figure is only one boot short of a full figure. One is wearing a fur hat with the other a tanker's helmet, casting is again excellent with the usual cleaning up process required.
The set is designed to fit Tamiya T-34/85 but can be used on any other Russian tank including T-34, SU and JS series vehicles
The detail on the figures
is first class with face details well defined.
It is good to see figures in more relaxed poses other than the usual standing
in the turret opening we usually see.
The resin used is a greenish grey colour and you should undercoat the figures in a light sand colour before painting, this will help with the flesh tones if using oils.
Should look good in any Russian tank.
