US Winter Tank Crew
1/35th Figure Set No. FST048
This figure from
Firestorm is of a US Tank crew wearing winter uniforms.
The resin kit has one full figure, one 3/4 figure and one 1/2 figure. The full figure body is in two halves and has separate arms and head and is designed to be sitting on the loader's hatch rim of a Sherman while the others two, the Commander and Driver have separate heads and single piece upper body.
The set could be used in any US armoured vehicle in the ETO after D-Day.
The detail on the figures is first class with face details well defined and excellent uniform details, while the sitting figure could also be used in any diorama setting if you wished.
The resin used is a greenish grey colour and you should undercoat the figures in a light sand colour before painting, this will help with the flesh tones if using oils.
Just the thing to add to the new Tamiya M26 Pershing.
