British Winter Tank Crew
1/35th Figure Set No. FST079
This three figure set
from Firestorm is of a British tank crew wearing winter gear in the ETO.
There are 10 resin parts cast in blemish free light cream coloured resin with again the only cleanup needed is the usual casting block to be removed.
The figures are all three quarter length and are for the Commander, Loader and Driver with the Loader and Driver having one arm cast with the body designed to be resting on the hatch tops. The Commander has both arms separate while all three have separate heads all wearing the typical tankers beret.
The uniform detail is again very good and cleanly cast as are the facial details.
While the figures are shown on a Sherman they could equally be used in a Cromwell or Churchill in a late war setting and offers some nice variety for tank crews.
