The driver figure is cast on one piece with separate arms and includes excellent uniform details with nicely rendered folds and creases and the arms that fit precisely and are well posed. The forage cap appears slightly too small and sits high up on the head but this demonstrates that not all gear was custom made and some had to make do with what was available.
The Feldgendarme is simply a superb figure with the upper body separate from the two separate legs with lower sections of the coat included. When you fit the two leg parts together the front flap of the coat overlaps and the inside of the coat is hollow for excellent detail definition.
The details on the rubberised motorcyclists coat is excellent with well defined flaps on the back and fold creases on the arms for a very good rendition as well as the finer details such as the collar and Feldgendarme’s gorget plate and he holds a sheet of paper in the right hand which is cast extremely thin.
He is armed with a Kar-98K rifle slug over his back with the rifle sling included in the body casting while there are two separate castings for the ammo pouches with some minor trimming needed to fit this under the right arm. The head and helmet with goggles are separate parts and fit together well as did the arms to the body.
Two very nicely done figures that will look good together or incorporated into a larger diorama with the Feldgendarme one of the better detailed figures around.
Highly recommended.
