Warriors 1/35th Figure No. 35301

This is the first Warriors figure I have seen since the change of ownership, so I was interested to see if the quality had been effected?

I am pleased to say the detail on the figure is excellent. The figure is in 6 pieces, the main body including the legs, separate arms and head. The rifle, bayonet and backpack are also separate pieces. There is a fair amount of release agent on the figure and it will need a good bath in warm detergent water.

There is a marked mould line on both sides of the right leg which needs to be removed, this is larger than on previous figures from Warriors. The slouch hat brim is way over size and would do any Mexican proud, this needs to have about 1-1.5mm removed from the outer rim. It may not sound much but the difference in appearance this 1mm makes is obvious.

The weapon is the Number 5 rifle, a shorter version of the Number 4 rifle developed for jungle fighting. This rifle was issued in 1944, so it will need to be replaced if using the figure in an earlier period.

Detail on the figure is excellent and fit together well, some minor trimming may be needed to line up the arms with the rifle, a bit of dry fitting should get the right fit before gluing.

In all, a nice figure and it's good to see something other than the usual U.S or German figures
