U.S.M.C. Tank Crew WWII
1/35th Figure Set No. WA35541
Review by Terry Ashley

This set is a WWII U.S.M.C Tank crew consisting of one three quarter figure for the tank Commander and two figures with just the upper body for the Driver and Co-Driver for a typical tank crew for an early Sherman without the turret Loader's hatch, although there would be nothing stopping you using the crew for a later Sherman or Stuart.

The two driver figures have the heads separate which have nicely detailed helmets and good facial features while the typical Herringbone twill "utilities" have the simple features captured well.
The Commander figure has one arm moulded with the upper body which includes the shoulder holster with the right arm separate with the fit being very good and the quality of the casting excellent without any blemishes and just the usual casting blocks to be removed before assembly and painting.

The figures are obviously designed to go with the just release M4A2 hull from Trakz but can of course be used with new Formations U.S.M.C M4A2 Tarawa or the early CMD M4A2 hull as well as with any other U.S.M.C tank from the period.

A very nice tank crew set that will look good in any Sherman.

The figure set is available in the US from VLS and in Australia from Firestorm Models.
