1/35th Figure Set No. WA35543
Review by Terry Ashley

This set has two figures wearing the typical SPG crew uniform with and Officer and NCO and are posed as if the Officer is giving some unfortunate a real talking too.

To add to the animated poses the crewman wearing a field cap also has the top of his tunic open for an interesting variation from the usual and adds to the nice feel of the set.

Each figure is made up of just four parts with the full body with separate arms and heads wearing the Officer’s cap and field cap.

There is the usual casting blocks to be removed and due to the legs being cast together there are some mould seam lines to be removed from the insides of the legs and you should take care not to compromise the detail when dealing with these.

The uniform details are well defined and the facial expressions are in tune with the poses with the fit of the parts being excellent requiring no filler on any of the joins and small indentions where the hands rest on the figure sides to aid in the correct positioning of the arms.

In all a nice set that will make for some interesting diorama settings with the possibility of adding further figures for whoever is being spoken too.

Recommended.

The figure set is available in the US from VLS and in Australia from Firestorm Models.
