Storage Boxes & Additional Equipment
for Pz.Kpfw.38(t)

#35 A109
Review by Terry Ashley

This set again designed for the Tristar Pz.Kpfw.38(t) E/F/G kits (#35020, #35022) contains one large etched fret with a variety of storage box styles and equipment racks seen on different versions of the 38(t) plus a length of thin copper wire for making the hinges.

The quality of the etching is excellent as with past ABER sets with very fine details as well as embossed and engraved details plus the usual engraved bending lines where needed.

Included is a larger perforated style storage box with a separate lid that has an embossed X stamping and the lid hinges can be made workable with careful bending if you wish as well as additional latches and mounting brackets.

A large angles storage box also has a separate which again can have the lid hinges made workable plus the latches and brackets as well as a large and smaller solid square storage box again with separate lids and workable hinges which allow you to show the boxes closed or open as the situation requires.

Also included is a 4 can jerry can rack to use as required but you have to provide your own jerry cans.

This set has a good selection of different style storage boxes seen of variants of the 38(t) and the workable hinges and detailed latches add considerable more detail the kit boxes.

Some of the boxes could be also used on other vehicles such as the Italeri 38(t) kits making the set a little more useful with the assembly fairly straightforward as far as etched parts go with just the hinges requiring care to ensure they remain workable after assembly.

Highly recommended
