The set: |
The outer perforated jacket and the inner barrel section that fit neatly together to form the barrel that can easily be fitted to any available plastic or resin gun.
Note; small flat sections at front of barrel and raised rib detail included on the parts.

Image of actual barrel showing the details included on the brass barrel.

The barrel passes right through the jacket and includes the locating pin and this can be used to remove any fine residue inside the barrel as it is pressed through the jacket without any problems.
The details on the barrel are superb and feature a fully hollowed out flash suppressor and the two small flat sections at the side of the barrel tip and the two raised rib fittings at the front for the bipod attachment, also included are the small indented notches around the suppressor housing and the holes just before the flash suppressor as well as the flat sides at the base of the flash suppressor.
The very clean machining that requires no cleanup makes for easy use with the barrel section having a small raised ridge at the rear that neatly fits inside the outer jacket holding the barrel precisely in place.
All that is needed to fit the barrel to the donor gun is to cut off the plastic/resin barrel, drill a small hole and insert the brass barrel with a small drop of cyanoacrylate (super glue) to hold in place, all very easy.
You can carefully cut off the smaller kit gun details such as the forward sight, ring AA sight attachment (half way down the barrel) and the rear bipod attachment as well as added the bipod if you wish to add the final touches to the barrel.
Note the finer details removed from donor gun and added to metal barrel.

Conclusion: |
The effect of the smaller details included on the barrel make for a very good appearance and will enhance any MG34 it is used on.
Highly recommended 8/10.
