armorscale Set No. A35-005
1:35th Scale
Review by Terry Ashley

Armorscale as well as producing excellent replacement barrels and update sets also have a range of turned brass ammunition with this set of 37mm PaK 35/36 ammo for use with the Pak 35/36 anti-tank gun and the KwK L/45 gun used in the Panzer III Ausf.A-F, the Sd.Kfz.250/10 and Sd.Kfz.251/10.

The set has 22 items in cleanly turned brass with six rounds each for the (1) Sub-calibre armour-piercing shell Pzgr.Patr.40, (2) Standard armour-piercing shell (AP) Pzgr.Patr. and (3) Standard high-explosive shell (HE) Spgr.Patr. As well there are four used shell cases which are hollowed out about 3mm deep for a good visual effect when using the empties.

The contours on the various rounds are well defined with a small indention on the base for the percussion cap. The only cleanup required is some small notches on the tip of a few rounds and on the base of the spent cases which can easily be removed with a fine file.

Conclusion:
A simple set of 37mm ammo to use with the applicable gun/vehicle that will add a bit of life and give the used look.

Highly recommended.

Thanks to armorscale for the review set.
