Swedish Armoured Corps Stridsvagn 122 Main Battle Tanks
Wartofta Company, Skaraborgs Regimente P4 Skovde

Decal Sheet No. T35003
Review by Peter Brown

Echelon
The "spearhead" of the Swedish Armoured Corps is the Strv 122 which is a development of the German Leopard 2 with extra roof armour and detail changes. This sheet provided markings for no less than thirteen vehicles of Wartofta Company with various names based on liquors and other tanks at P4 although there are only enough items to complete six complete subjects.

All generic items are included, down to warning labels and the small fluorescent side reflectors. Black stripes and spare individual numbers are provided for the vehicle registration numbers, and yellow stripes for the platoon tac markings.

As with previous sheets this sheet is of excellent quality with clear well printed markings with good colour register and very thin carrier film that is cropped close to the edge of the printed image and each vehicle has decals for its own registration number, name and code letters, plus the three crowns national marking as required.

Instructions include colour photos and drawings showing the green/green/black camouflage scheme and placement of generic and specific items.

With these markings there is no excuse for delaying a planned Strv 122 on the ground of there being no markings available, though the basic tanks will need either conversion sets or own-built parts.

Very highly recommended.
