The skids have the two retaining bolts either end with those on the inside well formed but care is needed when removing the skids from their casting blocks so as not to remove too much of the part.
It is best to use a sharp scalpel blade and cut as close as possible to the casting block and then lightly sand the edge, using a razor saw will remove too much material leaving the skids too narrow.
Fitting the skids to any available VVSS suspension bogie is straightforward by removing the plastic skids and simply replacing with the resin items, all very simple.
Conclusion:
Another simple update set that is easy to fit and will add additional details
to any VVSS Sherman suspension.
