The only difference is that the Passion Models set gives you two barrels for USD$14.00 while the Lionmarc set contains just the one barrel for USD$7.00.
The barrel is cleanly machined in brass with the armoured jacket and other details nicely represented and has the muzzle drilled out slightly for a nice appearance with no cleanup required before use.
I fitted the barrels to both the AFV Club and Dragon late Tiger I hull MG positions and after cutting off the plastic barrel at the appropriate position simply used cyanoacrylate to attach the brass barrel for a very easy conversion.
The brass barrel fitted perfectly through the ball mounting holes in both kits as you would expect with the barrel being the correct size and no other alterations were needed making the job even easier.
Conclusion:
A very simple update to add the late MG34 barrel to the appropriate vehicle
such as Tigers, Panthers or late Panzer IVs that has excellent details as was
an nice improvement over both kits plastic barrels.
Highly recommended
Thanks to Passion Models Japan and LionMarc Model Designs for the review sets.
