This set from Verlinden is
designed for the Tamiya Kit No.35213. It contains 50 resin parts and a fret of
etched metal
The quality of the resin casting is excellent, the parts include a new folded
top cover, a covered windscreen and two types of covered spare tyres. You also
get 5 nice "fat" tyres with the heavy tread pattern. A nice feature is the tyres
being split longitudinally resulting in very good tread pattern on the tyres.
This method means there is a thin vainer of resin carrier to be removed from
the
inside of each half. This is best done on a flat surface, carefully sanding in
a circular motion, take care not to remove too much resin.
The resin bits are finished off with an MG34 with ammo boxes, various bits of
personal gear and two jerry cans.
The etched metal fret includes
engine compartment grills, bits to replace the kit rear propeller mounting. A
number of small engine compartment latches and other detail bits for around the
vehicle are included.
Overall this is a good update set with nice resin bits and some useful etched
parts and will certainly enhance what is already and impressive kit.
