The resin parts are cast in grey/green resin to the usual quality from Verlinden. The detail set is specifically to fill out the forward driver's compartment/lower hull section of the kit.
It consists of side and rear bulkheads with nice moulded on details with other small parts to be attached.
An
interior moulding is provided for the front driver's plate (Kit part B4) with
MG breech as well as the two seats for the floor. A perforated etched plate
is also provided for the hull floor.
You also get three large ammo bins to replace those provided in the kit.
The instructions are a mixture of text and diagrams; you should study both before starting assembly to make things easier.
Conclusion:
In all a simple
update set, no surgery being required on the kit parts to install the parts
and will certainly add life to the interior.
With minor modifications this set could also be used on the Italeri 38T kits.
