The barrel is a single metal part with the muzzle hollowed out and fine rifling included inside the barrel for a very nice look in this small scale.

There is an issue with the Tamiya kit gun which is 2.1mm too short according to the scaled down 1:35 plans in the Actung Panzer and Ground Power publications and to correct this you could extend the rear section of the kit barrel or use this armorscale barrel which is the correct length.

To fit the metal barrel to the Tamiya kit is a straight swap without any other modifications required to not only correct the barrel length but add the nice effect with the fine rifling and as such there is no instruction sheet included in the set as you really don't need one.
