The 14 models/vehicles featured in the book are:
- Centurion AVRE (Accurate Armour resin kit)
- Challenger ARV (Accurate Armour conversion for Tamiya Challenger I kits)
- Chieftain AVLB (Accurate Armour “major conversion” of the Tamiya Chieftain plus AA AVLB Bridge)
- Concqueror ARVE (Accurate Armour resin kit)
- Cromwell ARV MkI (Accurate Armour conversion for Tamiya Cromwell kit)
- FV-180 CRT Frog (Accurate Armour resin kit)
- M578 ARV (Italeri M107/M110 kit with Verlinden M578 conversion set)
- M88 (Vietnam) (AFV Club kit with Eduard Etched sets)
- M88A1 (AFV Club kit with MR Models interior and Eduard Etched sets)
- Pionierpanzer Dachs (Elite Models conversion on the Italeri Leopard 1A4 kit)
- Sherman ARV MkII (Resicast conversion on DML M4A4 kit)
- Sherman M32B1 (kit bash using Tamiya/Italeri Sherman bits with Tank Workshop hull, Verlinden bits and Modelkasten tracks)
- VT-34 ARV (Accurate Armour conversion kit for DML T-34 kits)
- Warrior MCRV (Accurate Armour resin kit)
The first 32 pages have colour photos of the models finished to a high standard as well as a single colour pic of the real vehicle to accompany the model pics.
The remainder of the book is in black and white with each model covered having many detailed photos during and after construction to show clearly the processes and will prove invaluable when building the models. Again there are reference photos of the real thing to provide plenty of info as well as the added text giving detailed coverage of the construction.
All the models are built using available kits either plastic or resin plus resin update/conversion sets with added etched update sets so all the models can be built without major scratch building.
At the end of the book is a detailed list of all kits/conversions/update sets used with kit numbers and available reference books to enable you to buy all the bits used in the models featured.
As mentioned this book will be invaluable when building the kits and is really a detailed extension of the kit instructions as well as a good reference if you are just interested in Engineering and Recovery Vehicles.
Highly recommended
