The set consists of 20 pieces cast in a cream resin and only requires the removal of the casting blocks and some resin film before assembly. The upper body has the coat included and has a thickish resin film included in the coat gaps front and rear (removed from parts images below) but this is easily removed and there is a small base to stand the figure on when completed.
The legs with separate boots are then inserted from below and there are separate arms, hands, head and helmet (with goggles) as well as the MP40 carried all with crisp and well defined details included. The face has very nice features included which will come up well with careful painting.
The upper body has very nice tunic details with well defined collars raised
from the tunic as well as two MP40 ammo pouches included and two stick grenades
in the left pocket with just the ends of the sticks protruding for what is
an impressive piece of casting.
The details on the coat are also excellent with side seams and a well defined
loose belt and upper flap details on the back.
Care is needed when removing
the casting blocks which are located at the
top of the casting as these are on the relatively
thin raised collar of the coat and this can be easily damaged during the
removal process.
The MP40 has multiple parts such as the separate barrel, magazine and shoulder stock but you will have to supply the weapon strap yourself as this is not included.
There are no instructions included apart from the box top colour photo of the figure but there shouldn't be any problems assembling the kit as the location of most parts is self explanatory.
In all a simple yet attractive figure with the unusual uniform combination a nice variation from the usual regulation gear worn.
