Lower gun base plate with pin marks to be removed.

Rear armour wall and spent shell chutes added, it is essential to fit the armour wall exactly centrally.

Note the elevation arc and twin equilibrators under the guns, there should be two small holes added to the ends of the
equililbrators marked by white dots in the image, there is a clear photo of these holes on page 46 of the Squadron Walk Around book.
Also note the ends of the pins holding the equilibrators pistons in place have been compressed with heated screwdriver head to secure the piston ends.
Note: the trunnions are only temporarily sat in the base here to ensure proper alignment while the glue dries
on the cross beam (part C41) allowing easy fitting to the base later during normal assembly.
40mm cannon and trunnion assembly added to the tub.
Electrical elevation and traverse motors with manual crank handles fitted.
Motors added to tub.
