T-34 Wheel Set
1:35 Scale Set #B35007

Review by Terry Ashley

This set of road wheels for the T-34 consists of twenty pressed steel disc wheels (ten inner and ten outer) with perforated rubber tyres of the type most often seen on later T-34-76s, early T-34-85s, SU-100s and SU-122s.

The wheels are cast in a grey/green resin to a high standard with excellent details and just a small casting block to be removed and no other blemishes present.

The wheels have the flat inner disc without the raised central rim as is seen on most T-34-76 pressed disc wheels which is also the type mostly depicted in kits including those in the Tamiya T-34-85 (kit #35138).

Detail is excellent with well defined bolt head details and perforation pattern on the rubber sections with the outer wheels having the hub cap cast in place.

Assembly is straightforward in just gluing the inner and outer wheels together and you will probably need to drill out the axle locating hole further depending on the target kit. There is a small scar where the casting block attaches but this can be positioned at ground contact to hide effectively.

Conclusion:
A simple yet well detailed set of wheels of the pattern not often included in kits and they will allow you build an accurate T-34-85 and any other types using this pattern wheel.

Highly recommended
